Jeff RobertsJeff Roberts, President/Owner

Jeff Roberts acquired Clover Electronics in December 2007 and has built a strong leadership team that drives continuous quality and process improvement, during a challenged economy. The increase in capabilities has been the hallmark of changes made during the past two years.

Jeff brings to Clover Electronics a strong and varied technical background in manufacturing, engineering and product management. He has utilized his extensive Fortune 500 executive management experience to put into place Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma and 5 S processes to consistently improve quality, production and customer focus.

Previous to Clover, Jeff was President, Cooper Wiring Devices, located in Peachtree City, GA, a division of Cooper Industries, Inc. Jeff lead a team of 2400 employees that increased sales, profits and improved manufacturing processes.

Prior to Cooper, Jeff spent 17 years with Emerson Electric in St. Louis, MO. In his last two positions, Jeff was General Manager/Vice President of the Appliance Motors Division, as well as the Senior Vice President running Emerson Appliance Solutions.

Jeff earned both a MBA and BSME from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri.

Jeff resides in Peachtree City, Georgia with his wife, Lynn, and their three children.


Dean MorrisDean Morris, Quality Manager

Dean has a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Central Florida and has over 14 years of experience in electronics manufacturing.

As Quality Manager, Dean has been working to leverage his automotive experience to lead quality improvement initiatives at Clover Electronics. Dean’s implemented a Key Performance Metrics (KPI) System to help drive continual improvement actions. Through the actions of Clover’s customer-focused team, Clover Electronics is now achieving record-level customer quality performance rates.

Dean supported SMT and Wave Soldering operations as a Process Quality Engineer at Panasonic Automotive Systems of America. As part of a world-class team, he helped to reduce defect rates by over 90% utilizing Lean/Six Sigma Methods in the Automotive Specification TS-16949 Quality System. These improvements transitioned Panasonic from Honda’s worst supplier to Honda’s best supplier in 5 years.

Dean has also served as a Manufacturing Engineer for GenRad and Teradyne where he supported circuit board and system assembly processes. He also helped GenRad achieve first time ISO 9001 certification by designing and implementing their manufacturing documentation control system.
